completely commercialized III

On days I don't write about people in ads I may choose to critique them....like today.

For instance, I am not "sold" on Arby's new "Good Mood Food" campaign, where the guy sings "It's good mood food"....

after all....it doesn't exactly roll off the tongue...unlike their famous horsey sauce....lol

Singing about food is always tricky and perhaps is best avoided.

Taco Bell, on a similar note, turned the negative of recent questions of the amount of beef in its beef, so to speak into a positive by offering the crunch wrap supreme for just 88 cents.

One of those, plus the french fries, er KFC potato wedges...as they always correct me at the speaker... I should not have eaten with it, made for a pretty cheap lunch at under $3.

The crunch wrap supreme was pretty tasty w/lettuce, tomatoes, sour cream.....wonder what the regular price is?

  1. Matt-chew, I'm so very sorry that you had to endure this "food". All in the name of Journalism I guess. Taco Bell sells KFC potato wedges now? Tacos and fries? Oh my! I think you should have topped it off with a hot fudge sundae at McDonalds. : )
