It's probably by design, but Sunday night is the best night on TV.
Since families are usually home getting ready for the week ahead and trying to relax before Monday chews them up and spits them out before "The Bachelor" can pick them up again....well before Brad picked Emily anyway...Sunday night is ideal for TV watching.
TV can be a vast wasteland but there are some pretty good shows on Sunday nights, including The Apprentice, The Amazing Race and Shark Tank to name a few.

OK....so there was arguably too much of the boardroom action aired before we FINALLY found out who got fired Sunday in The Apprentice, that was also a product of Niki Taylor bowing out gracefully like she did.
The show is still pretty well done, however, even with an ahem...."eclectic" mix of people including Gary Busey and LaToya Jackson.
The clear star of the show is Donald Trump, though, and he plays it for all it's worth.
Trump can be disappointingly rude and crude though, and could hurt his presidential bid....if he is serious about that...though that could be another blog in itself.

So glad Shark Tank made it back for a second season, and even more glad it added Mark Cuban to a group of "sharks" that already includes real estate maven Barbara Corcoran and other distinctive personalities who decide whether or not to buy into "regular joe's" businesses.
Cuban even outsharked Corcoran at one point to invest in two women's dance business for kids. It looked like a shaky venture to me, but Cuban owns one more TV channel and sports team than I do....lol

The Amazing Race, meanwhile, is the Amazing Race...consistent in its inconsistency. Relaxing, yet unnerving fare of people trying to outrace other people around the world in many different ways and many different countries.
It deserves it's own blog entry at some point and I wrote a story about it already too that I will provide a link too....perhaps tomorrow.....for now.....good night!
Well shoot! I just typed a big 'ole long response and cyberspace ate it up. : (
ReplyDeletefunny...I was just going to copy and paste it too....lol
