"All Things TV"---new title, same blogger

Sometimes in life ya gotta realize when change is necessary...this is one of those times.

I decided today to branch this blog out to "all things TV", meaning not just a focus on commercials anymore.

I still have a love for commercials and will still write about them, but I want to mix in some news and views about all kinds of TV programming....from politics to sports to TV comedies and dramas.

I'll  appreciate it if you continue to follow me on my journey...both my readers in the U.S. and Hungary...no jk....I know you are out there and I appreciate it...esp as a part-Hungarian background.

ok....starting with TV comedies....maybe I am wrong and maybe it won't last but NBC's "Community" and "Parks and Recreation" seem fresher and funnier than old stalwarts "The Office" and "30 Rock".

The latter two shows are still funny at times, but the first two seem so much more creative and go in so many more different directions.

I think I "got it" to some extent...that is...I think I understand...it goes back to the old adage that "less is more".

The settings of Community and Parks and Recreation....a community college and a  parks and rec office...are simple places where dumb-funny stuff happens regularly.

The Office is also a small enviro but perhaps it has used up many of its tricks or perhaps there is only so much one can take of Steve Carrell, comedic genius that he is.

Perhaps more on this tommorrow....feel free to pass along your thoughts too....thx!

  1. I haven't seen Community yet, but I have seen Parks and Rec....funny show.

I think that it is awesome that you are branching out and moving to television. Hmmm....unless this is just another excuse to get your wife to let you watch endless hours of television. ; 0
